Bodyfulness — Seattle Nia with Dina

Something wonderful happened on this my last morning in San Diego…it rained! It hasn’t rained in months. It helped ease the pain of the transistion.

Here I am, at the airport again. 10 days off zoomed by like 10 minutes.

I’ll miss my sister and her pets Bentley and Frodo. We had so much fun. I’m so glad Christmas is only three weeks away!

Noun 1. Italian sandwich – a large sandwich made of a long crusty roll split lengthwise and filled with meats and cheese, said this way “sangwich”.

Little Italy rang and we answered. Delicious!

Another beautiful day! 72 degrees and breezy on Coronado beach. I spent the day sans sissy – she had to work. I had a fun time with my GPS iPhone which makes me feel like an excellent navigator!

This place is a sanctuary…totally refreshing!

Bently had a great day, and so did we!

The venue – The World Beat Center was tagged with amazing art. The room was comfortably full. Since it was an all ages show – no alcohol – the crowd was a lot less rowdy than at the Independent.

My sister, Chrissy, and me. It is so nice to be spending time with my original PIC – partner in crime! We compliment each other nicely.

Taura took Friday off and we went to the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. It was incredible.

Afterward, we went to see Pirate Radio (which I loved) and had the most incredible self-serve yogurt at this chain called Tutti Frutti. I have two words for you – TOPPING BAR!

OMG The Fat Freddy’s Drop show was amazing! The Independent in San Francisco is the boombadda of bomb-ass clubs!

I manifested meeting the the lead singer outside the show. Look how happy I look! What a magical night!

Peaceful night sleep at Taura’s cozy place. Grateful!

Checked out where Taura’s works and then she sent me to go explore on my own. Adventure!

First stop – Grace Church Cathedral to walk the labrinths. Amazing! They have two, one inside and one outside.

Next, lunch at a sunny cafe. This IS the good life!

Yes! This is the show I am heading out to see in San Fran.

How psyched am I? This morning we danced an amazing Fat Freddy Nia mix. It was tribal and earthy and amazing.

I’m meeting Taura tonight at Oakland Airport, and then Rachael (Red) and Michael (her hubby) at the show for some off-the-hook Fat Freddy FUN! Bring it!
