Oh, Friday night is going to be HOT HOT HOT! Have we got a set for you.

Ray Charles and Quincy Jones. Wow. I wish I could have experienced those early days of Seattle soulful music scene. It must have been off the hook!

Mollia and I selected an AWESOME Quincy Jones song on Friday night – a true classic, but one I never did at Nia before.

And, then there’s our Ray song. I exhale just thinking about what that moment will be like…

I’m startin’ the buzz…Mollia and I are building the music for our latest project called Nia (206)!

Seattle is infamous for music and music scene. With Nia (206), we are creating a set of music that was inspired by artists living in our very own are code. Every song comes from an Seattle-based artist or band. So far, we’ve got an impressive, world-class set!

And we’re taking suggestions. Reply to this blog-post or talk to me after class sometime. But don’t wait, Nia (206) is happening SOON.

Since yesterday was Sam’s birthday, I dedicated today’s routine to him, and included some of his favorite songs in the playlist.

Sam is an energy healer and body worker. I am one of his regular clients. Sam has helped me to heal my body and soul. He is AMAZING.

Happy 39th Birthday, Sam! May this year be filled with even more laughter and love. YAY!
